Made from the finest hand selected ash. Peradon cues undergo many weeks of preparation. The wood is first kiln dried to avoid warping before any other work begins. All woods are hand selected and they are finished to exacting standards to give you the 'feel' you need in a top quality cue.
Peradon are the oldest cue-makers in the world. Their cues have been used by the greatest players in the world. None more famous than the legendary Joe Davis. He also gave Peradon sole rights to use his name on their cues. Peradon were also responsible for the introduction and manufacture of Hand-Spliced cues. The vast majority of the world's leading professionals and amateur players will only use a hand spliced cue.
A Kingwood front splice and Orange and Black veneers are then spliced to the butt section to further enhance the appearance.To eliminate joint problems the two sections of the 'quick action' joint are each precision turned from a single piece of solid brass and fitted to ensure precise alignment. A 'quick action' butt end joint is fitted to accept the optional extensions on the 'related products' section of this page.
* The quality of the ash shaft is of the utmost importance when crafting a cue. Shafts are extensively selected with only a small percentage of the pieces processed making the grade for production of these cues. In order to maintain the highest standards of selection Peradon purchase more ash than any other English cue makers.
